What’s this all about?

I’ve been using the wonderful TourGuide addon for World of Warcraft for a while and I had a thought: “Wouldn’t it be interesting to try to level from 1 to 70 using just the TourGuide guidelines?”. Well maybe not is the answer but it’s something I’m going to attempt.

First thing to do once I’d decided this was to choose a class. I’ve played most of the classes and other than the ones I already have at high level, there wasn’t any in particular that I wanted to level. I did want a more melee type character because my high levels are casters. in the end I decided to go with druid for their versatility in playstyles. Once the class was chosen the name was obvious: Talthinar, the name of the character where this all began, a druid on EverQuest.
